Sharon Pagdilao FNP

A proud military veteran, Sharon was a transportation engineer (88 MIKE) in the U.S. Army before she decided to become a nurse. As a nurse practitioner in pain management, she employs empathy, effective communication and a sense of purpose, making it easy for patients to convey their medical history.

 

Sharon Pagdilao graduated with her BSN in 2005. She began her nursing career assisting patients that needed active care for severe illnesses, injury or urgent medical conditions. She is also experienced in hospice/home health, urgent and emergency care services. Prior to graduating and receiving her Master's MSN-FNP as a nurse practitioner, Sharon spent her last 10 years as a bed-side nurse in cardiovascular ICU with critically ill patients at risk, or recovering from life-threatening conditions. Sharon started her career as a Nurse Practitioner in Pain Management, all the while advancing her knowledge in pain management including but not limited to Dry-needling w/e stim, TPI w/Iontophoresis, Ketamine IV infusion, etc. Most recently she attended a training course on major joint injections utilizing ultrasound guidance. Although Sharon is able to prescribe medication, she has been very successful with her approach in providing a multitude of options when building customized treatment plans for each of her patients. Through listening and educating prior to resorting to medications, Sharon's collaborative methodology ensures patients understand and participate in their treatment plans.

Derek Stibbens ACNPC-AG
 

Derek Stibbens is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in Colorado Springs, CO who specializes comprehensive pain management. Derek performs multiple invasive procedures and is also well versed in the efficacious nature of medications combined with other long-term solutions.

Derek’s training includes many years as a paramedic and intensive care nurse before pursing his passion and providing care as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Derek’s philosophy is to bring pain management into the 20th century by combining knowledge and experience while paving the way for new research to give patients a real solution to their ailments. Derek has pursued many Post graduate certifications to compliment his passion of helping others a few including US guided procedures, dry needling, invasive procedural training, cognitive behavioral training, ketamine therapy, platelet rich plasma, extracorporeal Ultrasound therapy etc. Derek embraces both traditional and regenerative techniques to compliment the intricacy that is human biology. He believes that every patient needs compassionate, detailed and personalized care plans that puts the patient first once again. Derek’s knowledge, training and relentless drive to continue research is complimented by his peaceful demeanor and ideology of putting the patient back in control of their own health.

Deanna Sinclair FNP
 

Deanna has called the great state of Colorado home since 1998 and began her tenure in healthcare as a nursing assistant in 1985. She continued up through the ranks fist as an LPN in 1990, upon completing her RN ADN in 1993 at Illinois Community College she continued with her education earning her BSN RN in 2009 and her MSN FNP in 2019 - both through Chamberlain College of Nursing. Luminosity also takes great pride as she continues to serve her country from right here in the Springs as an Air Force Reserve flight nurse who has deployed on four separate occasions over the past decade, most recently in support of Covid relief. She has an expansive breadth of knowledge and expertise, gaining invaluable skills and insight throughout her career as a nurse ranging from Medical/Surgical Unit, Cardiac Step down, Physical Rehabilitation Nursing and Ortho Spine Neuro which ultimately led her on a path of specialty care, using her extensive experience as a providing Practitioner in Family Practice, Urgent Care and Pain Management.
Deanna approaches pain management by emphasizing the importance of establishing a trusting relationship where communication flows openly between patient and provider. As opposed to simply offering pharmacologic therapy, she focuses on providing an array of options to ensure her treatment plans are customized to the needs of each patient. Deanna is well versed in TPI w/ iontophoresis, large joint blocks and injections via ultrasound guidance and infusion services.  When not treating patients, Deanna enjoys baking, exercise and genealogy.

Veronica Misko FNP

Veronica has lived in Colorado since 1997 and always had a connection to healthcare. Her first career position was as a veterinary technician which paved the way for her ultimate goal to become a nurse. Veronica first obtained her Bachelor's degree in healthcare management and in continuing to expand her education earned her Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration. Realizing she wanted to have a more direct role and focus in patient care, she returned to Academia earning her Master's in Nursing along with a postgraduate certificate with primary focus in adult-gerontology (AGNP). Years of experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, palliative and hospice care led Veronica to her current path into pain management, where she feels communication flowing between provider and patient establishes the best forum for optimal care and treatment planning. Veronica strongly believes pain management is an underserved area of focus and it is her professional goal to ensure her patients receive the best care possible from their provider. It is her commitment to help ease the pain of her patients through an understanding of treatments that reach well beyond simply prescribing medication. 
 
Veronica's additional training and experience include trigger point injections with photo-biomodulation, dry needling with e-stim, ultrasound guided injections and most recently hormone therapy. Her mantra is that it is important to always learn and grow both professionally and personally; she certainly plans to keep expanding her knowledge in all areas and facets of her life. In her leisure she enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, spending time with her family, friends and her dog Ella.
